Ladies 1sts 0 v 1 Hampton 1sts

Player of the match: Alice Burridge

This was an extremely hard fought game against last seasons runners up, Hampton. The amount of energy and effort against this well organised and drilled team was paramount and although the Adders were left unrewarded with points or a goal, they can be really pleased with themselves on their performance and managing to keep the scoreline down to a single goal.

On the other hand, the Adders will be disappointed to have let their accuracy, decision making and patience slip in points of the game; to which Hampton taught a valuable lesson, by standing strong and taking full advantage of each mistake to make the breaks and punish the home side by converting a goal to seal the fate of the end result.
Captain Alice Burridge managed to, narrowly, pip Rachael Probert to the post to bag herself woman of the match for the 2nd time this season.
The Adders take on Stratford next weekend, who have been known to be a bit of a 'bogie team' for the girls for a few seasons. They will look to put this curse to bed and get some much needed points on the board.
