The Mark Wintersgill Memorial Award seeks to recognise individuals within the club who embody Mark's remarkable qualities. This special award aims to celebrate those who go above and beyond in the name of AddersHockey.
Mark's life was tragically cut short following an industrial accident in 2012. However, his passion for hockey with the Adders and his unwavering commitment to the sport continue to inspire those who knew him. With an infectious laugh and a larger-than-life personality, Mark left a lasting impression on all players he shared games with.
Nominations for the Mark Wintersgill Memorial Award are now open. Whether it's a player who consistently displays sportsmanship and dedication, a coach who goes the extra mile to inspire their team, or a volunteer who selflessly contributes to the success of the club, we encourage members to nominate those who exemplify the spirit of this award.

Nominations will be accepted until 5.00pm on the 31st March 2025, and the recipient of the Mark Wintersgill Memorial Award will be announced on the Senior End of Season Presentation Night which is being held on Saturday 12th April 2025.
