About the team
Our Under 8's train on a Wednesday evening as part of Atherstone Hockey Club's Junior training session at 5.30 - 6.30pm at Atherstone Queen Elizabeth Academy. The Under 8's team get their first chance to play in a tournament during the season with the team normally drawn from boys and girls in Year 4 and 5.
The Junior Section is managed by Jill Thomas who would welcome new junior players or their parents to get in touch. The level of interest from Junior players means the club would also welcome volunteers to assist with Junior coaching sessions, subject to coaching experience and usual DBS clearance.
