This was probably the most dramatic in the Club's history. COVID -19 struck and brought an abrupt end to the season the day after the Mens 1sts won through to the EH Knockout Cup semi-final for the second consecutive season. A thrilling 6-5 victory over Southampton, who they beat last season in the semi-finals meant a long journey to Lewes had to be put on hold as they bid to make the final for the second time in as many seasons. Also with the Mens and Womens Leagues coming to a halt all teams were frozen in their league positions as the league Committees called an end to the league season. Unfortunately, this meant that the Ladies 1sts battle for survival in League one was halted and they were relegated to Warwickshire League 2.
The Mens 1sts won their League for the 3rd consecutive season (losing only two games) and were promoted to Tier 2 for the first time in their history. The Men entered a fourth team into the MRHA for the first time in many years and they faired excellently under the guidance and management of Eddie Parsons, finishing a respectable 3rd in their league and gaining promotion into a newly formed Central league.
All of the other Mens and Ladies teams faired well as the Club goes from strength to strength. The Juniors once again proved that they are the life blood of the Club as several youngsters made their way into the Senior teams, while others managed to make progress at County, Regional and National level.
