Playing Costs
Atherstone Adders Hockey Club provides fantastic 'value for money' when it comes to playing costs. We have looked at all other local hockey Clubs and can say that our costs are much more competitive than our nearest rivals.
The Club expects players in senior teams to pay an Annual Membership fee that also includes a small fee to Atherstone Sports Club, where we eat and socialise after all home games. We also expect Seniors to pay a Weekly Match fee. The weekly match fee also covers any mid-week training costs. Players are encouraged to acquire club kit, but the Club can provide a team shirt for matches (which needs to be handed back after every game) and also provide a team skort or set of shorts if needed.

Training Times
Ladies Coaching is on Tuesday evening between 7.30pm and 9.30pm, and Junior Coaching is from 5.30pm till 6.30pm, Badgers from 6.15pm till 7.30pm and Mens from 7.30pm till 9.30pm on Wednesday evenings at The Queen Elizabeth Academy, Witherley Road, Atherstone.
A Senior Coach oversees all coaching sessions and there are many junior coaches and helpers available at all sessions. All coaches are DBS checked, hold First Aid Certificates and have Safeguarding Children qualifications. Mens Senior Coaching is run by a former Pakistan Olympian player and the Ladies utilise a number of well qualified club coaches to oversee their progress for the coming season.

Saturday Games (Men's, Ladies, Badgers and Juniors):
Seniors 1: Employed
Seniors 2: Concessionary
Students 1: In Further Education [19 years +]
Juniors 1: In Full-Time Education [Age 13-18] who play regularly for a Senior team on Saturdays
Badgers: In Full-Time Education [Age 13-18] who play regularly for a Badgers team on Saturdays
Juniors: [Age 5-18], (School Year Yr1 – Yr13) who only play Junior games or attend Junior Training
Important: Annual Subscriptions now include the annual membership fees to Atherstone Sports Club. We will issuing welcome pack emails and allocating subscriptions out during September and these will need to be paid by the end of October.
